BUFFALO GROVE, IL, June 11, 2014 – Leica Biosystems, a global leader in IHC workflow and automation, today announced the release of several new features for its PathLead app that has reached over 1,500 downloads worldwide and an average rating of 4.5. The mobile app, available for iPhone, iPad and Android, is an educational* tool which includes an antibody citation index of now more than 100 antibodies with continuous updates and an extensive IHC image library. Healthcare professionals in the field of surgical pathology and diagnostic immunohistochemistry can now access antibody lecture series and educational webinars available in concise 10 minute podcasts. All videos can be streamed or downloaded and viewed in both full portrait and landscape orientations.
