ACD - a Bio-Techne brand

ACD - a Bio-Techne brand, is a pioneer and leader in the advancement of spatial genomics by unlocking the power of RNA and developing cell- and tissue-based research.

Based on proprietary technology, ACD’s RNAscope Technology, the first multiplex fluorescent and chromogenic in situ hybridization platform enables detection and quantification of RNA in situ at single molecule sensitivity.

Features and Benefits of Our Technology

Features

  • Strong detection of low expressors- Visualization of even very low expressing genes in any of the three probe channels.
  • Compatible with multiple sample types- Detection of signals at low exposure and supports of FFPE samples and fresh frozen samples.
  • Supports dual ISH and IHC protocols- High and stable signals enable sequential detection of proteins by IHC on the same samples.
  • Sharper, crisper signal- Strong balanced signals across all three channels make it easy to generate publication-quality data.

Benefits

  • Easy to use - no need to match expression level of targets with channel sensitivity
  • Novel multiplex nucleic acid ISH technology with a patented probe design
  • Delivers clear and actionable results with high sensitivity and specificity

Research Focus

Automated Protocol - Best-in-class RNA ISH for your automated system of choice

For labs that require high throughput and automated RNA in situ hybridization (ISH) analysis, ACD has partnered with Leica Biosystems to deliver RNAscope™ ISH automated assays.

Common applications include studies to map co-expression of targets within the same cellular context (e.g. secreted ligand and its receptor) or to profile gene expression in a specific cell type expressing a known marker (e.g. a specific stem cell marker).

Custom Protocol

Using proprietary ACD RNAscope™ Probe Design Pipeline, we provide double "Z" oligo probes designed to hybridize to your specific RNA target of interest. We can design in situ hybridization RNA probes for virtually ANY gene in ANY genome for visualization in ANY tissue or cell.
