Whole slide imaging (WSI) enables the digitization of microscope slides, producing a digital image for review in the pathology lab.
In this session, Leica Biosystems will showcase our latest Digital Pathology solution – allowing our virtual viewers the opportunity to experience how our latest innovation enable laboratories to scale up digital pathology for high-throughput routine diagnosis.
About the presenters
Mark has over 12 years’ experience in an NHS laboratory (microbiology) where he gathered extensive knowledge of laboratory practice, various sample analyzers, manual analysis techniques. While at Leica Biosystems, Mark was responsible for countrywide technical expertise in solution building and support through customer inquiries and tender responses.
Sara has worked for over 10 years in a laboratory sales environment after a degree in Biochemistry. She has extensive knowledge of laboratory practice and the academic and Pharma sector.
While working for Leica Biosystems, Sara has enhanced her interpersonal skills through customer interactions and global team collaborations. Sara has been responsible for country-wide Digital Pathology projects and has expertise in complete end-to-end solutions working with third parties.
