DiaKwant™ PD-L1 TPS
PD-L1 TPS, read cell by cell. Zero click, zero annotation, zero manual counting: when you open the slide in Aperio HALO AP Software, DiaKwant™ AI has already framed the tumor, classified each tumor cell as PD-L1 positive or negative, and computed the Tumor Proportion Score (TPS) on the entire slide, for non-small cell lung and urothelial carcinomas. A heatmap shows where PD-L1 is expressed. The score comes with the cell counts behind it. You stay in control. The AI handles the count.

DiaKwant PD-L1 (TPS) Pan-organ Demonstration in Aperio HALO AP Image Management System
DiaKwant PD-L1 (TPS) Pan-organ is a DiaDeep algorithm integrated within the Aperio HALO AP digital pathology platform to deliver accurate PD-L1 quantification across tumor types, including lung and urothelial carcinomas. It automatically analyzes the whole slide to calculate the Tumor Proportion Score (TPS), with no manual annotation or selection of tumor regions required from the pathologist.
After selecting a PD-L1 slide, the pathologist can review the tissue in detail. A heatmap overlay highlights the tumor regions analyzed. The heatmap can be switched on or off at any time, allowing the pathologist to compare the algorithm's output with the underlying tissue morphology.
At the end of the analysis, the pathologist obtains:
- The TPS, with the calculated score.
- The number of positive and negative tumor cells, supporting understanding of the score.
- A heatmap of PD-L1 expression across the tumor.
DiaKwant also offers automated quantification for HER2, Ki-67, ER, PR, and mitosis.
