Elizabeth A. Chlipala
Elizabeth A. Chlipala received her bachelor's degree in Biology from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, and also attended the Histology School at William Beaumont Hospital for her certification as a histologist. Elizabeth is responsible for all routine and specialized technical and administrative functions in a small contract pre-clinical histology laboratory that specializes in decalcified bone sections, immunohistochemistry, whole slide digital imaging, and image analysis. She also the manager of personal, research and development of protocols and special techniques, such as immunohistochemistry, apoptosis, and special stains and animal models of disease as the co-owner of Premier Laboratory, LLC, in Boulder, CO. Elizabeth is also highly involved with the National Society of Histotechnologist (NSH) and holds the position of Awards Chairperson. She is also a member and the CFO of the Digital Pathology Association. She is a highly published author and co-author of many scientific journals and her latest publication was ‘Scientific and Regulatory Policy Committee (SRPC) paper: validation of digital pathology systems in the regulated nonclinical environment.’ Toxicol Pathol. 2013 Jan;41(1): 115-24.
