Leica Biosystems and Abcam are inviting researchers to apply for the 2025 ChromoPlex III Innovation Access Program. This is an opportunity to be selected to receive one ChromoPlex III assay and up to three Abcam antibodies, provided at no charge, for a research initiative in your lab.

Introducing ChromoPlex III:

ChromoPlex III is a new chromogenic multiplex assay from Leica Biosystems, designed to accelerate your tissue-based research. Built on a tried-and-true detection approach with a proven track record of reliability, ChromoPlex III eliminates the need for custom antibody conjugation, removing technical barriers and simplifying assay design.

About the Program:

Leica Biosystems and Abcam are pleased to offer the 2025 ChromoPlex III Innovation Access Program to support scientists advancing tissue-based research. This program aims to accelerate discovery using the ChromoPlex III multiplex assay from Leica Biosystems and the trusted antibody portfolio from Abcam.

Award Details:

• Three qualified researchers will be selected.
• Each researcher will receive one ChromoPlex III kit and up to three Abcam antibodies to use in their proposed study.

Terms & Conditions

By submitting your entry to this contest (the “Contest”), you agree to these terms (the “Official Rules”) for yourself and on behalf of your Institution/Company. “You” and “your” shall refer to you personally or your Institution/Company, as applicable. “We,” “Us,” or “Our” includes Leica Biosystems and/or its officers, employees, directors, agents, and affiliates. “Sponsors” shall refer to Leica Biosystems Division of Leica Microsystems (“Leica Biosystems”) and Abcam Limited (“Abcam”), collectively. If you do not agree to these terms, do not click the “SUBMIT” box, and do not participate in this offer.

No purchase necessary. Purchase or acceptance of a product does not increase your chances of winning.

Official Rules:

1. Qualified entries will be judged by a team of Leica Biosystems scientists for appropriateness and completeness in response. Each entry will be judged based on our view of how well the entry reflects scientific merit, innovation, and fit with ChromoPlex III Triple Detection RUO.
2. The three selected winners will receive one ChromoPlex III kit (100 slides) and up to three antibodies required to support their experiment.
3. Recipients must have the capability and resources to run the ChromoPlex III assay within their Institution or through confirmed access to a suitable facility (i.e., a core lab equipped with a BOND RX system). If a recipient is unable to execute the proposed testing due to lack of access, funding, or other logistical limitations, the Sponsors reserve the right to rescind the award and reallocate it to another qualified applicant.
4. Award winners agree to make their datasets available for confidential internal review by the Sponsors within 120 days following notification that the applicant has been selected as a winner.
5. Winners may be invited to participate in promotional activities at the Sponsors’ request for up to one year following the award announcement. Participation is voluntary and may include:
   1. Image release
   2. Social media feature
   3. Webinar or in-person seminar availability if desired
6. This opportunity is open to legal residents of the 50 United States, who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older at time of entry. Void outside of the United States and where prohibited. Persons in any of the following categories are NOT eligible to participate or be awarded a grant: (a) persons who on or after July 15, 2025, were or are a director, officer, employee, or agent of Leica Biosystems, Abcam or any parent, subsidiary, affiliate, or independent contractor of Leica Biosystems or Abcam; (b) individuals engaged in the development, production or distribution of materials for this grant; (c) persons who are immediate family members (defined as spouse, IRS dependent, or biological or step-mother, father, sister, brother, daughter, or son and each of their respective spouses) of any person in any of the preceding categories, regardless of where they live, and/or individuals who reside in the same household, whether related or not, as any person in any of the preceding categories; (d) persons who are employed by a government entity or who are prohibited from participating or accepting a prize by any applicable employment, internal or institutional policy, and (e) persons who are not eligible to lawfully participate in the grant under applicable law. By participating in the grant, each participant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsors, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
7. How to Enter: All entries must be submitted via the official online submission form. No email or mail-in entries will be accepted. There is no limit to the number of entries a participant may submit, provided each entry is unique and meets all submission requirements.
8. PRIZES/VALUES/ODDS: Three winners will each be awarded 1 ChromoPlex III kit and up to 3 Abcam antibodies required to support their experiment. (Approximate retail value (“ARV”): $ total ARV of each prize: $10,000). If a winner cannot accept the prize as stated, the prize may be forfeited in its entirety and awarded to an alternate winner. No substitution or transfer of any prize is permitted, but Leica Biosystems reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value, if the advertised prize or portion thereof becomes unavailable for any reason. All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. LIMIT: one prize per person.

9. You agree to obtain all authorizations and permissions from your Institution/Company or others that are required to allow you to make this submission and to have your name and the name of your Institution/Company used for marketing purposes by Leica Biosystems and its affiliates without any compensation and with or without attribution. You also agree personally to all the authorizations and permissions required by these terms and conditions.

   You further agree that submission of your application and the use of your submission by the Sponsors does not violate any rule, policy, copyright, trademark, patent, or procedures of your Institution/Company or that of any other person. You represent and warrant that you have the full right, authority, and any necessary permissions to submit the application and to disclose all information contained therein, including any data, materials, or intellectual property referenced or included. Participation in the submission process does not confer any ownership or intellectual property rights over the submitted work or its outcomes.

10. You acknowledge and agree that any submission made hereunder is not being made in exchange for any promise of providing business to either Sponsor.
11. You agree that each Sponsor may contact you for the purpose of marketing its products and services.
12. The Sponsors reserve the right to discontinue or modify this program at any time for any reason. In such an event, the Sponsors will notify and inform all already-submitted entrants via e-mail. In the event of discontinuance or modification of the program, the Sponsors shall not be liable to you, your employees, agents, or team members for any losses, damages, or claims arising from such discontinuance or modification.
13. The Sponsors may refuse to consider a submission if they determine in their sole discretion that awarding the prize to the entrant would likely result in a violation of an applicable law, rule, or policy, including, but not limited to, if awarding a prize would be contrary to the law where you reside or work.
14. In no event shall Leica Biosystems, Abcam, or any of their officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages whatsoever arising under or as a result of entrance in or participation in the offer. The foregoing limitation of liability shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: You agree that (a) the Sponsors and their affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents (individually and collectively "Releasees") are released, will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by you against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind (whether due to negligence or otherwise) to person(s), including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize or participation in this Contest, and, (b) that Releasees have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any prize, and the releasees hereby disclaim any and all such warranties including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. By accepting a prize, each winner grants permission to Sponsors and those acting under their authority, the right to the use of his/her name, picture, likeness, voice, biographical information and statements, at any time or times, in perpetuity, for advertising, trade, publicity and promotional purposes without additional compensation (except where legally prohibited), in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide and on the Internet and World Wide Web, without notice, review or approval.

LIABILITY LIMITATIONS: Releasees are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or non-delivered entries, or technical errors or difficulties, or printing errors, clerical, typographical or other error in the offering or announcement of any prize or in any prize notification documents, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of registration, entry or other information or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such or similar information. Should any portion of the Contest be, in Sponsors’ sole opinion, compromised by non-authorized human intervention, technical failures or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsors, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion to suspend, modify, or terminate the Contest, and select the winners from entries received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor.

GOVERNING LAW: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations as between participant and Sponsors in connection with the Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of Delaware including procedural provisions without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other state's or jurisdiction's laws.

DISQUALIFICATION: It is your responsibility to ensure that you have complied in full with all of the conditions and requirements contained in these Official Rules. If any potential winner is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines a prize for any reason prior to award, such potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. No mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, forged, software generated, third party, or other automated multiple entries will be accepted. Entries made by any other individual or any entity, and/or originating by any other mechanism, will be declared invalid and disqualified for this Grants Contest. Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual who is found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest; to be acting in violation of these Official Rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. The Sponsors reserve the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

FORCE MAJEURE: Subject to any governmental approval which may be required, Sponsors reserve the right, without prior notice and at any time, to terminate the Contest, in whole or in part, or modify or suspend the Contest in any way, if they determine, in their sole discretion, that the Contest is impaired or that fraud has destroyed or severely undermined the proper entry, integrity, and/or feasibility of the Contest. In the event Sponsors are prevented from continuing with the Contest as contemplated herein by any event beyond their control, including but not limited to fire, flood, natural or man-made epidemic or health of other means, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared) or any federal, state, provincial or local government law, order, or regulation, pandemic, epidemic, or other public health crisis (e.g., SARS, COVID-19, etc.), order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within Sponsors’ control, then subject to any governmental approval which may be required, Sponsors shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest. If the Contest is terminated, in whole or in part, before the designated end date, Sponsors may, in their sole discretion, select winners (or the remaining winners, as the case may be) from all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the date of the event giving rise to the termination. Only the type and quantity of prizes described in these Official Rules will be awarded.

INVALIDITY: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Headings and captions are used in these Official Rules solely for ease of reference, and shall not be deemed to affect in any manner the meaning or intent of these Official Rules or any provision hereof. These Official Rules cannot be modified or amended in any way except in writing by a duly authorized representatives of the Sponsors.
