The complex environment of the anatomic pathology lab presents numerous challenges in standardized workflow processes while maintaining efficiency. As each pathology lab is unique, we looked at CPA Lab’s operational data and model and compared it to the post-specimen tracking implementation model to observe any gains in operational efficiencies. We see that through standardized procedures and automation, a significant amount of time, nearly 53 technical (hands-on) hours per day, is saved through STS implementation.
