James Burchette

James Burchette, HT (ASCP), retired as an analytical specialist from the Molecular Pathology Section of Clinical Laboratories at Duke University Health System, Durham, North Carolina. His primary job functions included managing the technical aspects of the clinical Immunopathology Lab and validating new antibodies for diagnostic immunohistochemical testing. Mr. Burchette has over 40 years of experience in histotechnology with 34 years of immunopathology specialty. He has 90 publications, with 78 being peerreviewed (search Burchette J www.pubmed.com). He remains active in histotechnology with presentations at state and national meetings.
