Charles W. Scouten, Ph.D.

Charles Scouten, Product Specialist, MNL, Biosystems Division, Richmond, IL, was born in Eckelson, North Dakota, USA.  He acquired his Ph.D from SUNY Binghamton in 1980 with a dissertation entitled “Location of Neurons Mediating Androgen’s effect on Copulation, Urine Marking, and Body Weight”.
Charles Scouten is currently managing the neuroscience research instruments including the line of stereotaxic instruments and related products developed by him under eight Small Business Innovative Research Grants he wrote.  He joined Leica Microsystems with the Coretech Holdings Acquisition in 2007. He was a founding partner in MyNeurolab.com, partly owned by Coretech Holdings.
